Chaka caught on film!

We rescued this adorable girl on Sunday March the 30th, of 2008 from the Charlottesville SPCA.

She's an Australian Cattle Dog (sometimes referred to as Blue Heeler) and a German Shepherd Mix. The Vet says she's around 2 years old.

I was going to name her Choco (cause her coat is chocolate colored) but Kitty already had a dog named that, so she is Chaka to (choco two) or Chakato (Jade and I love Anime). We call her Chaka. She's camera shy, but a sweetheart. (I was sitting on the floor by the bed next to her crate and she got in my lap, so I used Mac's Photobooth to get this picture).

She's crate trained, house broken, walks well on a leash and was very timid and shy when we got her, but now comes when we call her name, wags her tail when she sees us and loves belly rubs and treats!

She gets along with her buddy Lady Sara, very well. I hope to have a picture of the two of them together soon!
